Dorota is a lawyer with a business approach, regulatory advisor with over 10 years of corporate law and consulting experience in complex services for technological companies. She specializes in legal and regulatory aspects of financial sector, fintech, blockchain technology (in particular DeFi and web3), AML and crowdfunding. Dorota gained her experience working in ”big 4” companies and leading Blockchain & DeFi team within a intenational law firm.
She advises regulators, investors, startups, and mature businesses, primarily in the web3 space, but also fintech, gaming, gambling, and AI projects. Dorota and her team assist various international teams developing or adopting technological solutions not just to verify or build the strategy, but also to implement each of its elements navigating complex regulatory frameworks in the safest and most effective manner possible.
Dorota has an extensive experience in supporting entities using blockchain technology as a tool for recording and storing data, for process tracking, asset marking, crowdfunding, implementing cryptoeconomics, tokenizing assets or entering foreign crypto exchanges. Since 2016 she has advised 100+ various projects all around the world.
In addition to comprehensive support in day-to-day business operations, she advises her clients on investment processes, domestic and foreign scaling, including the creation of international legal structures for investment and business plans.
Dorota is a legal advisor to the Blockchain Venture Hub (bvh.com), a member of scientific and professional organizations, including in particular but not limited to the Center for Research on Legal Aspects of Blockchain Technology at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and Blockchain Hub Warsaw.
She is also a PhD student at Kozminski University, a lecturer at Lazarski University in Warsaw and a speaker at numerous conferences on new technologies. In 2024 she has been appointed “Top Women of Web3 in 2023, CEE” in join research done by technological companies, including IBM.
